Research Interest
My research interest falls in the area of applied probability theory; especially queueing theory and stochastic modeling of communications network and computer systems. My previous research includes: stability study of queueing networks, analysis of discrete time Jackson network, approximate performance measures for queueing systems and analysis of communication switches. My current research includes exact and approximate analysis of discrete time retail queues with applications to communications networks.
